Reinforcement: increases likelihood that the behavior will occur again. Either positive or negative.

Punishment Effectiveness: Timing, Reasoning, Consistency, Attachment to person doing punishing.
Giving feedback (positive and negative) shows bidirectional relationship betwenn "teacher" and "learner".

Reasoning:Enables children to draw conclusions when encountering similar situations which creates self-regulatory mechanisms.
