remembering and reliving historical events can teach us much about the past as well as help us with the future

Jane and John were making a city and found something shiny. They picked it up and found out it was gold!
When the news came out thousands of people came and lots of them came back rich.
A Long road to Oregon

Pioneers wanted a better life.
The USA government was giving out free land
Life was tough in Missouri in the 1800's. Bad weather made it hard to do anything and crops died so they didn't have food also buisnesses closed so they did not have jobs. in this case they wanted to have a better life!
Getting Ready To Go
Pioneers knew that moving to Oregon would be hard .The trip would take 5 months of bumpy trails they gathered the animals and food.
