Iveta
Role in the Video
Iveta's role in the video is very significant. She is playing the role of a heartbroken girlfriend, which found out that her boyfriend is cheating on her. They are getting in an argument. There are shots of her tearing their pictures together from anger/ sadness.
Costumes
Costume 1: She is wearing a black long sleeves tank top and black jeans. The costume was chosen as she is meant to be at home. This is her everyday outfit. I have chosen the black colour as it is quite dark and dramatic. The colour brings more darkness to the overall picture.
Costume 2: This is another everyday outfit that my model wears. She has red tank top and black jeans. The red has always being a colour that symbolizes pain, blood and even evil. The red is a colour that provokes anger. This is the reason why I chose the red crop top, in the scenes of tearing the pictures of her and her "boyfriend" she is hurting, angry, she is in pain. I think that this is a suitable outfit for this scene
Make Up and Hair
Make up and hair 1: Here she has straight hair and a bit of make up. What we have used as a make up for those scenes are mascara, lipstick and highlighter. Her lipstick is red, which we have used because it is quite bright and stands out from the black clothing.
Her hair is straight and her make up this time is different just by the lipstick. For this costume she has brighter coral lipstick. No matter that she is heartbroken she finally has found the truth and even that she is angry she is relieved she got away from this fake relationship.
Ivailo
Role in the video
Ivaylo's role in the video is of the abusive, violent, cheating, careless boyfriend. He has just few short scenes in the video in which he is arguing with Iveta and he is getting abusive. There are few scenes of Ivaylo on his own one of them is a ruthless in the camera and one panning shot going from down to up showing his face which is fulfilled with regret and the look on his eyes is empty, like he finally realises what he has done and that he has lost the girl he once loved.
Costumes
This is an outfit that he will normally wear when he is at home. It is just a tracksuit and black T-shirt. The white-greyish colour of the tracksuit shows how he looks innocent on the outside but however the black T-shirt symbolizes the darkness underneath that he is hiding.
This is the costume we have used for the scenes of Ivaylo in his own. I have chosen something simple yet something that he will wear when he goes out. He is wearing blue jeans and grey top with a skull with feathers on it.
