        Water Cycle
        
        The water cycle has 5 stages: Evaporation, transpiration, condensation, precipitation , and surface runoff. Evaporation is caused by the heat energy emitted by the sun. Evaporation is responsible for 90% of the moisture in the air. Transpiration is water being evaporated from the leaves of plants. Transpiration is responsible for 10% of the moisture in the air. Water is then returned through condensation. Moisture in the air from evapotranspiration condenses which then forms clouds and leads to precipitation. Precipitation is when water combines with dust or debris and creates rain, snow, hail, etc. Surface runoff is when water from precipitation flows on the ground and reaches overland flow. Part of the water is also absorbed into the earth becoming ground water
        
        Air/Wind Cycle
        
        Heat energy from the sun creates differences of temperature within the atmosphere making air movement. The less dense hot air rises and the more dense cold air falls making a circular cycle.
        
        Plant Cycle
        
        There are 3 cycles in a plants life; seed, seedling, and mature plant.Throughout its life cycle the plant takes solar energy and creates sugar using photosynthesis. Plants contain chloropylls allowing them to absorb sunlight. They take in water and Co2 to create sugar.
        
        Energy Cycle
        
        The transfer of energy through living organisms is the energy cycle. Solar energy is the main energy source. Plants take solar energy and create sugar to make energy. Plants are then eaten by organisms. The mitochondria inside those organisms turn sugar into energy that the organism then uses.When animals die, they decompose, returning nutrients back into the ground that plants can use.
        
        Oxygen Cycle
        
        Plants create oxygen during photosynthesis.Water vapor can also produce oxygen when it comes in direct contact with sunlight. Animal respiration, combustion, and decomposition uses oxygen. Plants also breathe oxygen at night since there is no sunlight.
