Accomplishments
Learning multiple instruments. Over the years my family has realized how musical I was. First it started with piano lessons, and after a while that got boring to me. At the same time I was learning the clarinet because I was in band, but I later quit because I thought band wasn't for me. Then one year my brother got a guitar for Christmas and he took some lessons, but after a while he stopped. I then decided to teach myself guitar. Then I taught myself how to play the Flute, and after that I taught myself how to play the Ukulele. As of now I can play 5 instruments.
Making it to varsity sectionals last year in track. All last year I was working hard as hard as I could. My first goal was to make it on varsity. When I did I was happy. Then when my coaches told me I was going to sectionals for 300 Hurdles and the 4x8 I was so happy and excited.
I convinced my parents to let me go to a Twenty One Pilots Concert. Since they are one of my favorite bands, I would always blast their music as loud as I could and I would always sing their songs super loud. Then on some days I would look up their tickets for the next concert nearest to us and I would say things like "oh these tickets are really cheap we should get them" in hopes that they would get the hint. After doing that for w a few years I feel like my parents just got really annoyed with me and just gave in and finally got me tickets to go.
Getting an award at the Fox Valley Conference art show last year. I got an award for the best digital art. I love photography and the whole digital art category, and I was taking the Digital Photography class here. I was just doing my work and working hard and I made two pieces that stood out to my teacher. He then proceeded to enter it into the art show and then one day he found me in the hall and told me I won.
I was in the talent show when I was in 6th grade. I feel like this is one of my proudest moments because doing the talent show was something I thought I would never do because I was scared of being at the center of attention. I could hardly do a presentation in class let alone sing in front of over 100 people. Yet although I was scared I still went on stage and did my best. After the whole show was over and I walked out, everyone was congratulating me and saying that I was their favorite or that I did amazing and etc.
