The French Revolution is a period in the History of France in the years 1789-1799, in which the monarchy was overthrown and radical restricting was forced upon the Roman Catholic Church.
The First Estate is clergy
The Second Estate is nobility
The Third Estate is commoners
They were angry because the peasants had to pay taxes and the rich people didn't, also people were not happy because they were poor and starving and King Louis would not try to help them in any way, and they were receiving low wages.

facing the Russian army, he also suffered a
massive defeat at Waterloo by the British in
1815, which led to his ultimate downfall.
