The Renaissance is the Humanist’s revival of the ideas of the Classical Era, that were thought to be sinful in the Medieval Era. The Renaissance was another time of great learning and advancements.
Medieval refers to the Dark ages, this was a time where the church had most of the power and religion was thought to be the most important thing and it was all that mattered.
, Conformity is to sort of "go with the flow" in a situation. It can also mean to follow rules directly.
Classical refers to the Era of the Greeks and Romans, this was a time of great learning and advancement of the human race, many of the ideas from the classical era are still used today.
A person who gives financial or other support to a person, organization, cause, or activity.
Humanism is the philosophy that came to be during the Greek and Roman times, it is the idea that human lives matter and that we should value ourselves, it disappeared in the Medieval times but returned in the Renaissance. Some of the ideas of Humanism is that we should all have equal opportunity, the same right and freedoms and the thought that you are able to have your own thoughts and be interesting in things and ask questions. The people of the Greek and Roman times greatly valued the human body and how it was constructed. Humanism has become a large part of our everyday lives especially in Canada (charter of rights and freedoms)

(Civic Humanism was important to the people of the Renaissance because they believed that you had to be an active person in your community by
being knowledgeable about the politics and history of where you live
, Humanists believed that all human lives mattered and that you should be interested in things and ask questions. In the Medieval ages, this was thought to be bad. The idea of Humanism Came up in the Classical Era, was put down in the Medieval Ages, then re awaken in the Renaissance, like many other things.

, Many of the things that affected the Renaissance affected us today, we got many of our ideas of the creative things we have today like Art, Music, The dramatic Arts and etc. We have many of our ideas of Architecture from them and our government is based off of theirs.
and Ancient Greek and Rome had a tremendous effect on the Renaissance and even the common day. Some examples of this are architecture (including aqueducts and columns), Legal Code, Poetry, History, Drama, Republican, Sculptures, Math, Democracy, Jury System, Olympics, Scholars, Theatre, and Philosophy. Many of these things are still used today and if their not used, their ideas have affected our history.
