, Jews were not allowed in to certain/most parks, restaurants or even streets because people were aloud to have Jew free zones
, Jews lost many of their basic human rights as soon as Hitler got into power.
and Anne and her family lost their ability to go to parks, pools, travel, be outside and play music whenever they wanted
(Jews without ID on them were aloud to be beaten and any ordinary citizen(not Jews) were allowed to ask to see Jewish ID at any point in time
, Jews often go abuse shouted at them and things thrown at them because of peoples hatred of Jews.
, Jews Were made to wear arm bands with a big star of David on them to show that they were Jews
and Jewish business were taken off them, Anne's dad lost his business and his income and relied on possessions and other people kindness to pay for their hiding place.
(Disease was a massive problem and although no one really knows what happened to Anne Frank during her time at the camp it is almost certain that like everyone else she would of experienced some of the hunger and many diseases being spread throughout.
, A lot of family's like Anne's experienced the camps, but the worst part for many was the fact that almost every family was split up, some to work, some to die. Men and women were separated, Anne was not with her dad.
, Anne Frank died on 12th March 1945 in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, Germany. Like many other of millions more Anne died in a camp .
and In camps people were tortured, bullied, starved and mistreated
(Most Jews feared Hitler and the Nazis because of what they were doing to people
, Jews in hiding were scared to be caught because they might get killed or taken to camps and made to work.
and Non- Jews were afraid to help because they might be punished too.
(In school Anne Frank would be treated differently from usual because she was Jewish, and the other kids were taught bad stuff about Jews.
, The way She was being taught was different. New ways of teaching show Jews as being bad and not good for the country of Germany.
and She lost the right to schooling
(Food was scarce during WW2 and they didn't have ration books because they were in hiding
, They couldn't choose their own food or get treats
and The diet of Jews in hiding were not varied and they were restricted to things like potatoes, stews and soups. (Whatever people could glean for them)
(Anne's friends were made to turn on her because of the things that were being said about Jews
, Relationships between some changed because non-Jews who disagreed with Hitler's policies about Jews helped out the Jews in hiding, By bringing them food whilst they were hiding out
and She lost contact with friends
(Lots of Jews like Anne Frank were hiding out in single rooms, Attics or even Cellars and Basements
and Many Jews were forced onto hiding, so to not get caught by the SS:
), Anne Frank was a typical victim of WW2 because many other thousands of Jews have experienced the exact same thing as she has. The only difference with Anne Frank is that she was more well known due to her father publishing her diary from during hiding.
