The religions of the Middle East can dialogue to bring world peace by understanding one another, leading to a smaller chance of conflict.
A Coggle Diagram about TEXT-TO-TEXT (EVIDENCE and Some examples we learned in class about the Abrahamic faiths dialoguing together to create world peace was when we saw a video of a priest and Imam dialoguing to understand each other better and create peace between the two religions. Also, we discussed about a time when muslims were being attacked while they were being trying to pray so Christians built a wall around them, protecting them from the rubble being thrown their way. We even saw a video that showed us what not having inter religious dialogue can lead to; it showed violence and fighting amongst the different religions.), TEXT-TO-SELF (EVIDENCE and In my own life, an example of when dialogue brings peace is when I participate in school masses, it helps me understand Christianity more and I think if others around the world made more of an effort to understand religions other than their own, there would be more peace because, from personal experience, I know that when you better understand a religion, it is impossible to feel any hatred towards the faith or the people following the faith.), TEXT-TO-WORLD (EVIDENCE and Some examples of people who dialogue to the world to bring world peace are: Priests, Popes, Imams. Rabbis and Political Leaders.), TEXT-TO-FAITH (Dialogue is important for the religions of the Middle East because they are so similar and the only way they can come to that realization and connect through their commonalities is through dialogue. Some similarities between these religions is that they are all monotheistic, the y have devisions within their religions, they all believe in the story of Abraham, they all have a sacred text that they use as a guide and they all originated in the middle East. ) and EVIDENCE ( (Sacred Texts: Judaism-Torah, Islam-Quran, Christianity-Bible. The sacred texts and The Word for each Abrahamic Religion can be something the religions can use to relate with one another because all three of the religions place great importance in their sacred texts and wholly believe in what it says. Also, the content of the texts and The Words are somewhat similar as well because they all outline how people of each religion should respect God and His Creations., They all believe there is one God and He is to be respected along with His Creations. This is shown through their Sacred Texts, the Word for each religion and the Creeds of each religion., They all have marriage rituals, rituals for when someone passes away, they all have prayer rituals(Christianity and Judaism pray before each meal and before sleeping and in Islam it is mandatory to pray 5 times a day). They each have a prayer that they hold the greatest importance to which is called their Creeds. The Creed for Judaism is the Shema, for Christianity it's the Apostle's Creed and for Islam it is the Shahada., Both Judaism and Islam have dietary laws; in Islam you can only eat Halal food and in Judaism you have to follow kosher. , They all have similar moral laws, the main similarity is to respect God and His creations. The moral law for Islam is the Shariah Law, for Judaism it is the Mitzvot and for Christianity it is Jesus' message and the Ten Commandments. and They all pray to one God because they are monotheistic and believe in loving and respecting God. I can relate to this because as a Muslim, I hold my relationship with God very close to my heart and wish for that special relationship to never weaken.))
