, Wind and wave power stations use the current/ speed of the waves and wind to create power
, WAVE -- waves are passed through a tube (small area) which creates little room and pushes passed a turbine to spin it which is connected to a generator which creates the electricity --- These are put out at sea were there would be lots of waves.
, WIND -- This is done by using a wind turbine which when the wind passes through it moves as the propeller catches the wind and then is connected to a generator which creates the electricity.
and ISSUES -- They are an eye sore / require unpredictable elements

, Electricity is distributed from the power stations to the consumers (homes/hospitals etc)
, Step up transformer --- This steps up the voltage of the electrical current so it can travel through the national grid.
and step down transformer --- This steps down the voltage of the electrical current so it go go into homes and power it.

, Conventional power stations work by burning fuels like coal and oil to heat water, that water then rises and goes through a tunnel with a turbine in that turns. When it turns it is connected to a generator that turns and creates electricity which is then put into the national grid.
