A picture of a father teaching his son how to ride a bike perfectly depicts what I was explaining in part B as when someone first learns how to ride a bike they are scared and not eager to learn. However, a parent usually has to coerce the child to learn and give them that initial push. Eventually after learning the child begins to enjoy and freely choose to ride their bike, even though they are not forced. This connects to how initially, God’s role was to force the Jews and act as an enforcer, much like the parents with their kids, however, the Israelites over time began to accept the Torah despite there being no force involved, much like how the child began to freely choose to ride his bike.
