Who is a manager.-- According to Dubrin (2009), a manager is a person who is responsible for the work performance of group members.
A manager holds the formal authority to commit organizational resources, even if approval of other is required.
5-Skills of the manager

Technical skills -
involve an understanding of and proficiency in a specific activity that involves methods, processes, procedures, or techniques.
Interpersonal Skill -
is the managers’ ability to work effectively as a team member and to build cooperative effort in the unit.
Diagnostic Skill -
often requires other skills, because managers need to use technical, human, conceptual, and political skills to solve the problems they diagnose.
Political Skill -
to acquire the power necessary to reach objectives. It includes establishing the right connections and impressing the right people.
