The cycle starts from the ocean water evaporating. As water turns into moist, it becomes moist air, and is lifted to the atmosphere to become clouds through condensation. The moisture from water is transported throughout the globe, and returns to its surface as precipitation. Examples of precipitation are rain, snow, hail, and fog drip. They are all condensed water vapors. Water then enters the mantle of the ocean crust, returning to its surface by volcanism.
