PLANNING AND BRAINSTORMING STOP MOTION ANIMATION
WHEN
week 11
class exercise flipbook, research
week 12
photoshoot
week 13
photo editing and video making with imovie
WHAT
my initials in modelling clay
shaped in one piece, one thin roll
the other letters of my name come to place individually
the green roll transforms into a vine with leaves and flowers
to spice up the story,at the beginning the green roll sways around in the scene. Is it a worm ? Is it a snake ?
the leaves and flowers flourish in a sparodic way to make the animation interesting
letters in clay or Scrabble pieces ?
the worm looks around, to the left to the right, comes and goes
WHY
I want to be able to use this animation at the end of a professional presentation/portfolio for a job interview.
I want to find a logical continuation of my work at Tafe. I can reuse the initials C and L from the logotype I did for a previous assessment.
Modelling clay or salt dough are ideal for quickly creating an object in various versions. I can model the object at different stages of its transformation prior to the photo shoot so that I only have to replace an object by another version of it between the shoots.
WHERE
Ideally in the Tafe studio
If preparation is too long, at home in the kitchen (where there is most light).
