Let us listen to the answer of the Apostle Peter
ACTS 4:8-12
The Holy Spirit of God is the source of the words of these courageous preachers.
Verse 8 answers the question posed by the so-called scholars:
What can we learn?
We, for the so-called intellectual people of this world, we appear as the apostles: ordinary and modest.
But with the help of the Holy Spirit of God, we can stir up the same reaction that the apostles aroused.
ACTS 4:13
Spiritual goals are goals that help us to improve our relationship with Jehovah.
Jehovah is the creator of the universe and all that it contains.
We can be sure that HE knows enough.
Jehovah is the person who solves problems and simplifies the solution.
Are we Focused on Spiritual Goals?
Or on the temporary knowledge of the science?
Or the human "culture", so changeable.
Jehovah God, the source of true knowledge, instructs us and uses us.
From the point of view of the Pharisees:
The disciples of Jesus had not received the kind of instruction that authorized to ask questions or to teach with authority.
Let's analyze the image:
The elders, and scribes, along with Annas the chief priest, and other; are inquiring the apostles.
They are wondering about the authority with which they preach.
The apostles Peter and John are preaching.
ACTS 4:7
However,
(the so-called "wise men" felt wise because they had received this title from the men)
, ordered the apostles to stop talking.
The apostles responded with respect: ACTS 4:19,20
This answer teaches us that:
2 - Divine instruction is extraordinary, and transforms ordinary people into fearless preachers of justice.
3 -The Holy Spirit of God will give us the necessary calm to face every situation.
1 - We can and must defend the truth about God's will.
ACTS 4:18
What can we ask to God?
Therefore, we can beg the Creator of everything to give us true wisdom.
What to do with this wisdom?
At the eyes of this world we could appear as ordinary people; but it is not to them that we want to please!
Acts 4:31
The wisdom of this imperfect society is like the human society it represents: imperfect.
