Responsibilities
A civil engineer is responsible for designing plans for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure, and using those plans for construction projects as well as managing and repairing infrastructure.
Nature of Work
The job is medium paced work with much physical and mental work, and problem solving.
Working Conditions
The hazards of the job include severe injury due to misuse of heavy machinery, falling from a high a platform, inhaling noxious dust, etc.
Includes working inside and outside, and around noisy and distracting environments
