HOLY SPIRIT IS POURED OUT ON THE CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION
The book of the Acts of the Apostles written by the apostle Luke is certainly very emotional.
1 : The courage and determination with which the members of the Christian congregation preached the good news of the kingdom.
2 How Jehovah has supported every member of the congregation, despite the trials.
In watching the video that presents it in its general contents; please observe:
Besides the useful information mentioned in the video, we can learn other important lessons:
ACTS 2:37,38
Yes, they remained humble!
They always emphasized that the head of the congregation is Christ Jesus (...)
(...) not a man!
How did the apostles and disciples react to the portentous gifts given to them by Jehovah to expand the ministry?
What were their motivations for preaching the good news of the kingdom?
On the other hand, most Christians at that time kept busy “declaring the good news about the Christ” (...)
(...)and showing love for God, for fellow Christians, and for unbelievers.
In the first century, the Jews, who claimed to be God’s people, allowed their love for God to grow cold.
Imitating our Christian brothers of the first century, we could:
Be impartial by preaching to everyone.
Being generous towards our brothers!
What was the result of this way of acting?
ACTS 2:41,42
Verses 43 to 47 describe actions that we can also imitate.
