Acid: any substance that can accept a pair of non-bonding electrons. It is an electron-pair acceptor.

Acid: substance that which dissolved in water increases the concentration of hydrogen ion, H+.
Base: any species that increases the concentration of hydroxide ions, OH-.

Health: It can cause different effects on health. A highly acidity level has negative effects on digestive, respiratory, circulatory and immune systems. It can cause demineralization, muscle atrophy and kidney stones.
Environment: It can cause different effects on environment. The presence of high ph levels in environment can cause different consequences as the death of fauna and flora of different ecosystems as wells as the presence of some modifications in them.
