Fracking Ideas On Global Demographics Trends
By: Blandino Olivero
Christians are declining as a share of the U.S. population, and the number of U.S. adults who do not identify with any organized religion has grown.
This isn't necessarily a good or a bad thing, it is just change in the world.
I think that this demographic change will not have a major effect on society in everyday life.
The reason that was theorized for Islam being on the rise is quite interesting.
It was stating in the article that it is because of the younger generation of people who believe in Islam having more kids than any other. I'm see what they mean, but I don't necessarily agree because of the fact that everyone different kind of person is having kids, i think the rise is due to the popularity of the religion increasing.
Identifying as Non-Religious is on the rise due to the fact that this generation is able to share their thoughts instantly.
That is what I think is the case for any form of religious beliefs not just atheism. I feel that the internet has in a sense "opened the flood gates" for people to learn about all kinds of religion and experience them for themselves.
The share of Americans who live in middle class households is shrinking
This is actually a blessing in disguise if you consider that the majority of people that left are in the higher income side.
And yes a lot of people lost a lot of money and that is terrible, but sadly in the capitalist society that we live in that is just how it is. But also because we live in a capitalist society the people at the bottom can come up even though it won't be easy.
This is a representation of the effects of 2008 and how some unlucky people fell into poverty.
Yes that it it. The Recession or was devastating to this economy and the people involved in it you placed a large trust in these banks and companies, but a lot more people were able to come up during this time and reach higher income.
This has pushed more people into higher income.
We can see this with the graph, you notice the 7% increase of people in the higher income percentage.
The world is aging
The older generation will prove to be a problem.
As sad as it is to size, just the amount of money spent on older people is insane let alone resources. SSN is the biggest US expense at around 900 billion dollars. I think at some point in the near future this is going to be addressed because the Earth wasn't design to sustain upwards of 7 billion people let alone other life forms.
Population increased drastically once we cracked the code the was modern medicine
The article stated that between 1950 and 2010 the population tripled which has never happened before. We are using up resources at an all time high and we will run out if things don't change.
The Earth itself is again.
The world is losing it's strength to support us with all this drastic environmental changes happening. But is also losing is natural resources and while not people to support any form of life sooner rather than later.
The American family is changing.
In the future this graph will again have drastically change and look completely different.
My prediction is that in a few years time we we look at this statistic again the graph is going to be closer, but there is also going to be much more diverse families as its constantly changing
The idea of the women becoming the breadwinner is also a contributing factor to this change.
We see this happening in the US mainly, the idea that men are staying at home while the women go out and work. But I feel the better case scenario is what 51% of 2 parent households are doing which is having both parents work which is true equality.
Kids are living with only on parent now due to the increasing divorce rates.
In today;s world divorce rate and marriage rates are through the roof and that is why all this children are living in a blended family.
Women’s role in the labor force and leadership positions has grown dramatically.
This change isn't due to any policy, it was just a change that happened out of the people own will.
I find this interesting because when you look at things like the right to vote for women that was a bunch of policy makers changing something. This change had nothing to do with policy, but with a major shift in culture and I find that fascinating how much we have changed.
That is great and hopefully we reach a point where we can a 50/50 split in high leadership positions.
This is in my opinion shooting very high that this might not even happen in my life time. I'd like to see it and also I feel that it's not just the rest of society's responsibility as much as it is other women's job to go out there and get more involved, and obviously previously that idea was never taught to women but now is the age to make a difference.
Men are starting to become the care takers or the people that stay at home, while the women is becoming a breadwinner.
This change has not much effect considering that both people can preform both tasks equally.
