Fracking the mind of Jason Hulbert :)
The share of Americans who live in middle class households is shrinking.
Middle Income people is dropping
61% in 1977 vs. 50% in 2015, but where is it going and is this a good thing?
Lower income and high income increase
While the middle class dissipates the only place it can go is into the upper and lower classes. But while this seems bad it can be broken down into sections showing another side. with upper-income class increasing from 14% to 21% vs lower increasing 25% to 29%. while lower-income is higher than upper we have to look at the increase in the section of time. Higher is increasing by 7% points while lower is only increasing by 4%. showing that while the lower-class is larger than the higher, the higher is growing at a faster rate which benefits the world in a multitude of ways.
Middle class is forgotten about
While the upper and lower classes grow and the middle-class shrinks, this not a problem because it's not the middle class is dying they are just shifting classes.
Asia has replaced Latin America (including Mexico) as the biggest source of new immigrants to the U.S.
What value do Asia immigrants bring to the table
Since the United States is struggling in their STEM fields, which are some of the highest paying jobs we make it much easier for immigrants with skills to come work and live in the united states. Asia has some of the highest STEM ratings in a few of their countries which would explain why they would want to move to the United States.
African immigrants
Over the last 60 years, immigrants from parts of Africa have been fairly low but we are starting to see a rise and should continue to see a steady rise over the next 30 years.
As time goes on the asian population will overtake the Latin America in immigration
Since Asia's population is so great it would only make sense that at a point they would beat out other countries in the number of immigrants coming into the United States
Women’s role in the labor force and leadership positions has grown dramatically.
At home roles changing between husband and wife
As women begin to get higher ranked positions in the job market their husbands sometimes decided to become a stay at home dad while she works and produces the income. While this is not always the case it is more prevalent now than before.
Gender pay gap
While in theory, the pay gap seems very likely and it may have been in the last 50 years it's much different. Nowadays with jobs making their employees work new and strange hours, it starts to play a role in the pay gap. While men are more like to work those hours over women it does not mean that that's a pay gap.
Increase in women in the workplace and leadership roles
A large increase in women in power positions in the workplace and in large cdorportartions such as the fortune 500,300,100 style.
The American family is changing.
Rates of two parent families is decreasing and single parent raising is on the uprise
As divorce rates increase along with having children younger the chances of having a single parent taking care of a kid is rising which can be detrimental to the raising of the kid.
Divorce rates going up as well
A split family can have massive impacts on a child causing lasting impressions of what a family is supposed to be like, which can be very dangerous for society.
Marriage rates are declining
These marriage rates declining affects more then just the couples but if they have children if affects them.
The world’s religious makeup will look a lot different by 2050
Religion is starting to die in a way
As non religious lives become more popular religion as a whole starts to fade in comperison to a 60-150 years ago.
Other religions seem to not be decreasing or increasing
When you look at other religions and Jews we see that they have not increased almost anything at all. 2010 Jews were 0.01 and in 2050 they are esimated to be at 0.02
Christian is starting to be reveled as the most popular religion
As more and more Muslim people move to the United States and they have kids the Muslim religion will continue to spread and at some point be close to the same amount of followers as the Christan religion.
