DO YOU LOVE ME MORE THAN THESE?
How could we react to difficulties?
This is what happened to the Apostle Peter, when Jesus died.
Other disciples also returned to their previous activities.
Putting Jesus' teachings and commands aside.
JOHN 21:1-3
Many people are reluctant to change their habits.
Even if this means living better.
When, only one thing does not work as we had imagined, (...)
(...) we are ready to go back.
Remissive, we are back to doing what we did before.
However, Jehovah, our creator and loving heavenly father, loves us.
Peter and the other disciples are no exception.
Jesus, the son of God, came to Earth to confirm the love of God.
Lovingly give us the opportunity to use free will, keeping our dignity.
JOHN 21:4-14 (4-7 + 12b)
Jehovah and Jesus do not want to ridicule us by emphasizing our lackings and weaknesses.
Jehovah and Jesus continue to act this way:
We can be "sad", but not "discouraged".
(...) we are encouraged not to abandon the best life ever.
Through the Bible, the meetings, the loving elders of the congregation and our brothers; (...)
The entire Bible contains a message of love and hope for human beings.
Jehovah has never abandoned his loyal ones.
That is, those who have sided with him despite the limits of imperfection.
Another important lesson on how Jesus cares for us is found in the following verses:
When Peter said he would go fishing, (...)
(...) he acted (perhaps unknowingly) giving the example to the other uncertain disciples.
So the other disciples also went to work with him.
It is really easy to give others responsibility for the choices we make when we fail.
Our words, and our actions, can influence others, in a negative sense, but also in a positive sense.
Deciding to stay at home when we have the opportunity to be present at the meeting.
Go in preaching when there is bad weather.
For example:
JOHN 21:15-19
Look at the image: Peter and the other disciples were expert fishermen; perhaps the best in the region.
Jesus, our King, knows us very well, he knows all the things we can do.
How do we want to use our skills?
Jehovah, our creator, is ready to give us holy spirit to do amazing things related to his purpose.
What we will do?
Does anyone put it in doubt?
We too have extraordinary abilities.
