Mr.Nguyen's Science MakerSpace
3-D Print Station to use to print out anything students need.
Lego Station to build structures of major biological structures.
Bio.4.1.1
Compare the structure and function of each of the listed organic molecules in organisms:
▪ Carbohydrates (glucose, cellulose, starch, glycogen)
▪ Proteins (insulin, enzymes, hemoglobin)
▪ Lipids (phospholipids, steroids)
▪ Nucleic Acids (DNA, RNA)

Junk Building Station similar to the Lego Station, however it's more flexible and allows student to create anything that they currently have an idea on.
Computer Station for students to use to look up info and run biology/chemistry softwares.
Lab Equipment Station to allow students to perform labs for concepts they are currently interested in.
Chemistry 5.01: Evaluate various types of chemical reactions
• Analyze reactions by types: single replacement,
double replacement (including acid-base
neutralization), decomposition, synthesis, and
combustion of simple hydrocarbons
• Predict products
The concept of my space is to allow students to freely choose any science topic from biology or chemistry for them to partake in. It's a creative environment that allows students to work alone or together in labs and building to learn more of the different concepts.
