Plot:
Odyssseus goes wirth Eumaeus to the palace desguised as a begger. Telemachus brings a prophet and they tell Penelope that Odysseus is coming home. The beggar goes around and meets all of the suitors to determine who to kill and who to not kill. When Odysseus meets Antinous, Altinous he throws a chair at him.

Plot:
Odysseus is still in the palace disguised as a beggar when another beggar shows up. Antinous has the two beggars fight, and Odysseus wins. Odysseus tells Anfynimus that bad things will happen soon. He also tells the maids to tend to Penelope and they sort of argue back and Odysseus threatens them.
Book 19:
Plot:
Odysseus and Telemachus hide all of the weapons for the attack that they are planning. Odysseus meets with Penelope, but she does not recognize him unlike Eurycleia, his childhood nurse. She recognizes him because of a scar. Odysseus tells her to not tell anyone. Penelope tells Odysseus (the beggar) that she will choose a suitor to marry her tomorrow at a bow and arrow contest. Odysseus lets her know that her husband will arrive home before the contest.

Plot:
Odysseus plans the attack for the next day. Athena comes to Odysseus and tells him that he will do good in the attack. He overhears Penelope praying to one of the gods that she wishes that she dies if Odysseus does not come home tomorrow. Odysseus makes a prayer to Zeus and in response Zeus sends lightning. The next day, a seer warns the suitors of a dark vision. The suitors do not care and laugh at him. But, only one suitor believes him, Anphiminous. He sees an eagle carrying a dove and, which is a sign of bad things to come,
