Joints (septic arthritis), the affected joints may be warm, red, swollen and extremely painful, especially when you move an affected joint.
Incubation period: usually 1-14 days for symptomatic disease. Most become symptomatic in 2-5 days after exposure.

Signs and Symptoms
Females
Infected areas:
Urethra, cervix, fallopian tubes,
snd bartholin and skene glands
Discharge from vagina and urethra
Can involve the conjunctiva, pharynx and rectum
Lower abdominal pain
Vaginal bleeding between periods, such as after vaginal intercourse
Painful intercourse
Prepubescent: Thick, green or creamy vaginal discharge
vulvovaginitis
Pubescent: Purulent vag discharge, cervicitis, PID, and fallopian tube involvement can lead to sterility
Males
Prepubescent and adolescents:
Yellow purulent urethral discharge,
erythematous meatus, dysuria, and painful
swollen testicles
Rectal infections
anal itching, discharge, soreness, bleeding, and painful BM's
Transmission:
Oral, vaginal and anal sex
From mom to baby during delivery
= blindness, joint infection, or sepsis
