How did they die? - He died of illnesses after the war but his main cause of death was heart attack.
How did they survive? - He was badly wounded during the war though he was quickly rushed off to Hospital in Britain and was saved.
Why
Why did he feel like he needed to fight? - Davey did not feel like he had the need to fight, he wanted to fight just to feel powerful and adventurous
Why did he leave his families? - Phillip Davey did not choose to leave his family. HIs family was split up as soon as WWI was announced and all four of his brothers were asked to participate in WWI and so they all did. Leaving their family broken.
Why did he chose to fight the war? - Phillip Davey chose to fight the war because he felt like the War would be a good adventure and that it would be a chance to prove that he is a man
