Why we need change
I decided to write about this topic is because I feel like it is something that everyone should be informed about.
I hope society realizes that mass incarceration isn’t just a system for criminals, but it has become such an issue due to a corrupt criminal justice system.
Mass incarceration is a topic that most people aren’t fully informed about, but somewhat know the issue.
Although I am just one person out of billions, I hope that taking a stance on this issue/topic will make society a better place, and I hope that people learn more from my research
This topic is important to me because I believe everyone should know about this injustice. Our society is so racially bias that most people could care less about the lives of African Americans and they could probably care less about the communities that they’re living in.

This topic should matter to others because we are talking about people's lives, and their inability to live freely because of our corrupt system.
I really want people to understand and try to work as a society to understand we are all the same no matter what color we are, and if we were in this situation, we would be doing something about it to help the lesser.
