water cycle
Sun is the heart that pumps water around the hydrosphere. Heat energy breaks the bonds between water molecules causing them to evaporate from oceans, lakes and plants. Water returns to earth known as precipitation.
Runoff add to the flow of streams and rivers. Water can soak into ground approaches called infiltration. It is called as groundwater, stays between the surface anywhere from a few days to thousands of years. Feeds wet lands, lakes and stream.

Oceans contain 97 percent of all the water in the hydrosphere lose a huge amount of evaporation everyday but makes up the same amount from groundwater, precipitation and rivers.
Higher up in the atmosphere gaseous water cool down and condenses into cloud. When they turn to big drops it turns to snow, sleet, rain. Constantly cycling from land to air and back again (known as the water cycle.) (Below are some pictures of what snow sleet and rain looks like.)

Carbon Cycle
Oceans are carbon sinks too soaks up more carbon dioxide then they release. When plants and animals die the carbon contained in their body enters the earth crust. Earths crust keeps carbon locked up for million years.
Tons of carbon dioxide comes by burning fossil fuels. Burning trees add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Once trees are gone their not seeking up carbon dioxide.
Animals add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere and when they breathe the plants soak up carbon dioxide during photosynthesis storing carbon in their cells. Plants especially trees are known as carbon sinks. Takes more carbon out of the atmosphere then they add to it
Carbon dioxide is a major contribute to the greenhouse effect. Gases like carbon dioxide trap heats in the atmosphere and keeps the earth worm. carbon in the earth atmosphere has increased by 40 percent.
Every single cell in every living thing contains some kind of carbon. Carbon is common in nonliving things such as rocks and soil. Earths mantle crust, air contains carbon dioxide.

Nitrogen cycle
Different type of bacteria grabs onto each ammonia molecule and combine it with oxygen. This is called nitrification and it cracks a compound that plants can safety absorb through their roots.
Plants use these compounds to build protein and animals get these nitrogen by eating plants and other animals.When animals die their body decays. Proteins and nitrogen compounds inside them return to the soil. A third type of bacteria breaks these substances back down to ammonia. Process called ammonia can so right back into the nitrification step. Some of it is snagged by a forth kind of bacteria, they take away the oxygen atoms from compounds leaving plain old nitrogen gas as a byproduct. It has a opposite effect of nitrification this process is called denitrification.
Once it is in the soil the nitrogen crosses path with a special type of bacteria. These bacteria often live on the roots of the plants and plants give bacteria a cozy home to stay and bacteria latches onto a nitrogen molecule and breaks it into two separate atom and combine each with hydrogen to form compounds that cells can use and that process is called nitrogen fixation.
Leftover nitrogen is free to return to the atmosphere and it completes the nitrogen cycle. Human activity can have a huge impact on the nitrogen cycle such as fertilizers, smoke, sewage from factories and waste of farm animals. All adds million of tons of extra nitrogen to the environment. Throws nitrogen cycle off balance leading to the loss of oxygen in lakes and rivers. Soil that won't grow anything and pollutes or acid rain.
We need nitrogen in a different form and we get it from food. Nitrogen is constantly moving in a big circle from the air to the ground to plants, animals, and human and back again. First nitrogen from the atmosphere falls to the ground.
Phosphorus cycle
Plants get phosphorus from soil water by their roots and animals by eating plants and animals. People affect the phosphorus cycle by fertilizer that can cause algal blooms. Essential nutrient for animal and plants.
Positive impacts are weathering, agricultural runoff, fixing of roads. Negative impacts are improper use of water purification, addition of phosphate, exceeding of natural concentration.
Movement of phosphorus cycle from the environment to organism and then back to the environment. Doesn't involve atmosphere. It is important to humans because it's needed to form bones and teeth.
