This is an online program that provides interactive and engaging eBooks to early readers (grades 1-3). This program was designed to help students develop skills in phonological awareness, reading fluency, comprehension, and writing. This program targets reading comprehension, engaging students in a number of reading comprehension activities such as; prediction, sequencing, summarizing, story mapping, question answering and comprehension monitoring. This program offers a variety of text types, keeping students engaged, and sparks their motivation by rewarding students with a game at the end of their reading or activity. This program is especially great for teachers, as they can choose to target specific skills for instruction for certain individuals, and can also guide their class or individual student from basic sound and letter identification to complex tasks such as spelling, comprehension, and individual responses to stories.
