- - - - Cancel the E-way Bill?
        It can be canceled via the GST website or via SMS within 24 hours of its generation.
        However, the bill cannot be canceled if an officer in transit has verified the same.
        Generally canceled when - if either goods are not transported or are not transported as per the details furnished in the e-way bill
        Goods in movement (including when they are stored in the transporter's godown even if godown is located in recipient’s city/town prior to delivery) shall always be accompanied by a valid EWB even if it gets cancelled.
      - Editing in E-way Bill before Submission?
        It will not allow for some fields, if the products details are entered.
        Delete the products > Edit the required fields > Enter the products again.
      - How to reject EWB in 72 hours of generation being recipient?
        Goto Reject - Select Date - Tick and submit
      - Mistake (Incorrect or Wrong entry) in E-way Bill? : EWB cannot be corrected.
        Only option is generate a new one.

        Change the vehicle number to existing CEWB, without changing the individual EWBs. This generates a new CEWB, which has to be carried with new vehicle. Old CEWB will become invalid for use.
      - Can the ‘CEWB have the goods / EWBs which will be delivered to multiple locations ?
        Yes, If the CEWB is generated with 10 EWBs to move 3 consignments to destination Y and 7 consignments to destination X. Alternatively, two CEWB can be generated one for 3 consignments for destination Y and another for 7 consignments for destination X.

      - “Bill from” - “Dispatch from” invoice ?
        When the bill is prepared from supplier's premises, but moves the consignment from some other's premises to the consignee, Enter appropriately.

        Taxpayer or transporter have to prepare the JSON file by:
        ~ directly from his automated system [like cleartax, tally]
        or
        ~ use excel based bulk generation tool by govt.
        
        Enter the invoice and other details.
        
        Upload the JSON file in the portal.
- - - - It is not mandatory to select the tax rate while generating EWB.
        
        If the tax payer's GSTIN is canceled in the EWB system but is active in the GST common portal and he wants to login and generate then,
        
        Go to - Homepage > 'Tax paer search' > Enter GSTIN.
        
        Amended by GST Regestration details in GST common portal but it is not shown in the EWB system then :-
        Login > Go to "Main Menu" > Update > "MY GSTIN from CP".
        
        As per rule 55(5) Goods movement is done in batches or lots needs to issue the tax invoice for the complete Qty that is being moved.
        Prepare the delivery challan for each batch/lots and generate corresponding EWB for them.
        The last batch/lot should have the original invoice along w/ the challan and EWB no.
        On the EWB he need to select the SKD/CKD/lots sub-supply type to generate the EWB.
