The Ecumenical Council: a movement to create peace between faith groups and to create unity
Member Churches: Anglican, Baptist, Lutheran, Mennonite, United. the purpose of this is to unite different religions. the dialogue that they have is about unity of the religious groups.

FOUNDATION STONES:
Scriptures: Jesus did not write down his teachings so they have been passed down by word until the apostles wrote down his memories, which eventually became the new testament.
Creeds: statements of beliefs. Creeds are used so that all Christians profess the same faith
Church structure/Bishops: After the death of Jesus, Churches immediately began to form in Europe. Each church has a bishop as an overseer. Bishops are appointed as the successors of the apostles. this structure with the bishops is still the structure that churches use today.
Ecumenical council: Created to resolve conflicts in the catholic church.

Jesus' life and teachings show us about how to be loving in all that we do because through forgiving and loving others unconditionally, he created a peaceful example of what we should be striving to be.
Jesus is what christians believe to be the messiah, which means that he is our saviour.

The christian vocation is to be called to, as christians, serve others and live in the footprints of jesus.
we can dialogue with others about who Christ is by sharing religious experiences. from the my blueprint activity, i learned that we are all called by Christ to serve others in different ways by using our different strengths and motivations.
