The global market for renewable energy is in the trillions, the US is missing out on a lot of money by being stuck in fossil fuels.
Climate change is a global problem, the atmosphere moves, if one country pollutes the air that pollution does not know borders, the ozone layer does not know which country it is protecting and which it is not.

The US is incredibly behind and by stepping out of international agreements makes themselves seem incompetent and like a joke to the rest of the world.
If the US people understand that they are losing, they would be more motivated to change that
