Canada already has policies in place to ensure that the countries budget is subject to gender based analysis to ensure that the government continues to deliver change. Gender based analysis examines how different tax and spending measures affect men and women differently. Increase taxes to improve access to reprroductive health , maternal healthcare , schooling for girls , clean water. By giving women equal pay the GDP will increase and the economy and society will benefit overall
the new 2017 budget will have both gender based analysis
by improving education it can help close the gender gap
by closing the gap this means that there will be more tax money
they are encoraging women into the paid labor force

Investments in early learning and child care to
The promoscience program to encourage young girls to get interested in STEM
The urban indigenous strategy
The employment insurance caregiving benefit
Canada's goals: more equal wages and increased labour market participation for both women and men.
Canada has already started various initiatives that help address and potentially solve gender based challenges. There are still major gender imbalances in the innovation and research sphere, where women continue to be underrepresented in STEM, both at universities and colleges. The PromoScience Program funds organizations that offer young people—from junior kindergarten up to grade 12—opportunities to participate in activities known to build engagement, interest, skills and knowledge in STEM. These activities are very popular for young girls, due to their rapid love of STEM
