A movement of English, Art, Music, and American writing in the 18th Century. Supports influence of ancient rome and greece. Supports value of reason, clarity, balance and order. Some authors are Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Thomas Paine.

Leads to effective communication, Appeal to an audience, Its a tool to resolve conflict, and Its a way to pursuade. Use it to win over, Influence, persuade, and convince.
My Takeaway:
I learned that we need to learn about this to help what is going on in our present day society, by looking at what was wrong during this era. It was an era of reason, but lack of religion. This era also helped with our communication today.
