The Middle Ages started in 476 A.D; During this time, the Western Roman Empire fell, and was the start of Modern Europe; during this time, the Black Death struck, killing about 2/3 of the population, with the people saying god is punishing them; during this time, people painted and wrote about death and suffering.

The Renaissance started in 1300 A.D; During this time, painters like Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Giovanni, and Gallileo; The Renaissance was about rebirth of Greek and Roman culture; The paintings that were painted were commissions paid by churches, merchants, wealthy families, and a family known as the Medici's; The paintings and sculptures were about secularism, perspective, humanism and individualism.

The religion of the Renissance was Roman Cathloc

Artisans, Serfs, Farmers, cobblers, blacksmiths, bakers, millers, weavers and vinters

The city of Florence was divided into city states with each their own government
