Culture during the Renaissance was at its peak because the Renaissance was a glorious golden age for Europe. Several famous painting and structures were created in this time. The people spoke Latin, which was the language that the bible was in. During this time, famous artists and architects studied humanism and used realism, emotion, and perspective in all of their creations.
People during the middle ages were all strictly Roman Catholic. Most of their art was either religious or morbid because of the Bubonic Plague. Most people spoke Latin but could not read or write. They depended on the pope to translate and read the bible to them in Latin because it was vernacular .
The government in the middle ages was feudalism, a system where everyone is born into an unchangeable level in the pyramid. The surfs make food for everyone else, and in return the vassals/knights give them protection.
The government during the Renaissance was several small Monarchies. This was because after the Roman Empire fell, a lot of Europe was forced to split off into smaller areas and have all of the smaller rulers take complete power over that area.
As well as many other accomplishments during this time, they achieved a better baking system, expanded trade routes, and traded with many people like the Ottomans, which gave them plenty of money. They used this money to pay artists and architects to come and make something for them to improve their home or show their wealth.
During the Renaissance, most people were Roman Catholic and in this time period people focused less on their religion, called secularism and focused more on things like humanism.
