Rationale with FOR: The Sensory Integration (SI) frame is appropriate in addressing this problem. According to research, SI for feeding addresses the patient's sensory needs and if the child is tactile avoidant, such as Brook, the therapist can introuduce propriceptive expriences before bringing in different food textures (Reinoso, Carsone, Weldon, Powers, & Lore, 2018). SI in food related issues is most sucessful in a playful envrionment (Reinoso, Carsone, Weldon, Powers, & Lore, 2018).
