Reinforcement
Either a positive or a negative reinforcement is where you do something and you get a reward from it therefore you would most likely repeat that action (increase the times of doing it)
Positive reinforcement
Where you are getting a reward from a specific action therefore reinforced and you would most likely repeat the action (e.g. being complemented, given sweets etc)
Negative reinforcement
Doing something to avoid a specific punishment E.g. Tom does his homework to avoid getting a detention
Punishment
Getting punished due to your actions e.g. being scolded, shouted at or getting a detention therefore the action would decrease and would less likely happen again
Generalisation
Based on previous experiment you make a general assumption of what and how it can affect others (whole of society or a specific target population)
