Gender Equality
The causes of this problem are than
There have been more valed the mens
Women was taught specific values and ways to act
Men have been tough about business and women were left out
Feminine things like makeup were not allowed to men
Showing emotions was something for women and there is always a way of being like a machete, said in the families generation by generation, from father to son
Some of the consequences of this are
Women have been paid less by their boss
Men do not ask for help when they really need it
In occasions of single dads, things for changing a diaper to a baby are not provided
Women were even treated as mental patients when they were not happy when their husbands arrived
Men have been though than they always should be the strong ones so when they seem less strong than the average other boys bully that guy
The same goes to women, when they are not like really feminine they are excluded from the groups that usually others girls create
Some solutions to this problems at a global level are
promoting security to women
Sell makeup for men without being considered weird
Being free to choose who they want to marry
Some local solutions than we could implement in my community are
Putting diaper changers in both bathrooms but more in the mens ones
Making the community see how being an emocional person is normal in both genders
Allow women to participate in things considered only for men and likewise
