Foreign Trade Law
Purpose
- Regulate and promote foreign trade
- Increase the competitiveness of the national economy
- Promote the efficient use of the country's productive resources
- Properly integrate the Mexican economy with the international economy
- Defend the productive plant from unfair international trade practices
- Contribute to the elevation of the well-being of the population.
The provisions of this Law are of public order and applicable throughout the Republic, without prejudice to the provisions of international treaties or agreements to which Mexico is a party.
Application and interpretation correspond to the Federal Executive through the Ministry of Economy
