Middle Ages vs Renaissance
Governement
The Feudal came to be because the Roman Empire fell. Peasants would produce for the king and the vassals and knights would protect these peasants. The kings granted ;land to the lower class. Noble/lords had to supply land and to give the king knights. Knights had to protect. Peasants had to pay heavy taxes but got land and protection in return.
Religion
People who lived during the Middle Ages thought that all inconveniences and problems happened because god was punishing them. Such as the Black Death, they thought it was a punishment for their sins.
Culture
Art during the Middle Ages was based on death because thats all that was going on at the time and that's all that the people were experiencing.

Economic
During the middle ages they used the manorial system. For the peasants it depended on their land and lord. The manorial system is based on the manor. A manor is a self-efficient estate controlled by a lord.
Renaissance
Economics
People made their money off off trading this people were called merchants. Others made money by banking.
Government
Feudalism died down and italy started to have their owne city states which were governments separated and different from all other city states. They had their own currency and army as well
Religion
Christianity still played a part during the Renaissance but people started to honor mandate things and creatiions made by humans. This was called humanism.
Culture
Art played a big part. It depicted realism end emotion. It also showed religion in the artwork.
