      - The HJ gave the youth a wide range of physical activities to take part in which was attractive as they were given the chance to do things they had never done before
      - From the age of 10 they were taught the motto 'Live faithfully, fight bravely,and die laughing.
      - The Nazis had control over the curriculum and focused mainly on the promotion of racial health by encouraging P.E which became rudimentary military drills
      - German school children were taught a lot about Aryan biology and how the Aryan biology was superior to all other races
      - Lessons like Geography were used to develop ideas of Lebensraum (living space)
    - - There was poor attendance for the Hitler Youth groups and until it was made compulsory in 1939
      - when it was created in 1926 it was very unpopular compared to the Catholic Youth groups only having 55000 members
      - There were groups of boys that beat up Hitler Youth members at night in protest to the regime
  - - - Women that were employed in higher well paid positions were forcibly, if necessary, removed from their workplaces much to their displeasure
      - If women did not conform to the Nazi norm they were sterilised or put with the asocials which were later sent to either concentration camps or deported
    - - The women were raised in the BDM being taught how to be good wives to the men
      - In the BDM they were taught how to be good mothers and have children. ti also taught then how to sew and clean and take care of the house
      - It gave the women who were part of it a sense of companionship, togetherness and accomplishment as they were all experiencing it together.
      - They set up the DFW, (The Germans Women's League), The National Socialist Women's Organisation (NS-F), The Reich Mother's Service (RMD)
      - The DFW was set up in 1933 to coordinate all women's groups under Nazi control
