And, thereabout their numbers increasing by 1000 people every single day. Therefore, thousands of Syrian children are deprived of education. This amount increasingly grows over the years, as it was reported as 833,039 in 2016. ⭐

There are numerous factors that associated with the educational problem of Syrians. These are mainly: the amount of school and the inefficacy in the support for Syrians; the familial, economic and social problems of Syrians. Some logical solutions can exist for the students that have immigrated to Turkey are : 🔒

5) There are a lot of refugee tents in Turkey, especially in the Eastern of the country. Tents can be constructed that will be used for educational purposes in these areas. And voluntary teachers can be assigned to work in these tents. 🔓

2) For the support of the students: property classes can be added, their school-life can be monitored or there can be classrooms with teachers who talks both Arabic and Turkish. 🔓

1) Syrian families struggles to enroll their children to a school in the regions that has a high population. At the same time in some cities it is hard to find vacancies. The number of schools and mobile portable classrooms can be increased by the support of European Union grants. 🔓

6) Some of the Syrians can be directed to rehabilitation centers that can provide psycho-social support with the permission of Ministry of Health. 🔓

3) To prevent the child labor and increase the number of students that goes to school instead of offices can be established all around the Turkey. 🔓

4) To eliminate the problem of family disruption there can be authorized people to talk to the families. Also, letters can be sent and public spots can be made to families to encourage them to let their children go to school. 🔓

There are some barriers against these solutions for example : ⛔

Daily and common problems in families and difficult refugee life

Lack of budget for school materials

Lack of budget for transportation

Prejudice of Syrians: Not being aware of the situation of Syrians

Language is unknown by nearly all the Refugees

Next to this, even if we succeed in schooling the Syrian students, we need to support them to orient in the Turkish Education. International Rescue Committee highlighted that because Syrian Students were not in a structured educational system before, their level of education is not equal to Turkish students. %30 of the oldest middle-school cannot be successful in 7-year-old’s math exam and cannot finish a 60 words story. ⭐
