      - minho actually works for the villains and betrays nix who then feels like its their fault something terrible happened, but this character's last act is to protect nix (see the url in the ship strand)
      - she 'catches feelings' because he doesn't pity her or try to push into her personal space and all that and just lets her warm up to him and get as close as she's comfortable...he's normal

        they meet in a library, he's really out of place?
        
        they meet again when they find out they're at the same dance studio
        
        aaaand then he convinces her to take an econ class and eventually major in econ with him where he convinces her that amazon is the one destroying their city and that the (republican) government is basically not doing anything for them with all their 'laissez-faire'
      - Part 2:
        
        their relationship starts to get messy and bad because she starts depending on him and he starts leading her on sort of not really whatever but then he knows she's still not like mentally stable and all that so he wants to let her heal by herself but doesn't tell her bc that would bias the whole thing, she feels emotionally terrible
        
        he's guilt tripped into reacting just a little when she has a kind of mental breakdown type thing, throws her off and she realises what the hell she's doing and how unhealthy it is and distances herself really far from him
        
        he doesn't react and knows this is best but has his own kind of mental crisis where he completely ignores her when she tries to reestablish relations with him, because he feels terrible for dragging her into his indoctrination thing
      - Part 3:
        
        she basically forces herself to start hating him, but he knows this will completely foil his plans and has to put in more effort so lets himself be more emotional, but never touches on her own private like thoughts and things (essentially their conversations stay shallow or dance-related)
        
        They're getting closer, both healthier, and the battle is approaching. Everything is almost too good. He betrays her in the final battle, HOW DOES SHE REACT???, but his last act is protecting her, and he reveals some kind of mental instability/wound whatever that makes her super guilty and she's just standing there not comprehending, but he tells her he's proud of her...she feels like she's failed, completely, and her story just doesn't have a happy ending

        she finds something he's written, and a dance he's recorded for her
