Invertebrates are much more persistence towards oil palm plantation than vertebrates with little side effects on other range of taxa and higher species richness in oil palm than in forest (Danielsen et al, 2009).
Studies shows that a significant positive effects of changing a forest landscape to oil palm. Eg: Beetles, ants, bees and moths
Converging into secondary forest does not only resulted in species loss but also inclined the species richness
