this year the prime minister of Australia was voted in from the people in parliament not the public vote.
the house of representatives is green to representetives the gum trees and Australian bush, the senate is red because they copied it from England.
there are three levels of government the local which takes care of pet control, roads and garbage collection the state which takes care of heath, education and public transport and there is also federal which takes care of foreign affairs, trade and immagration

in Australia we have something called a majority vote where each person running for prime minster has an equal chance of getting elected after the first vote, in america the most amount of votes first wins.
