What I know about the Australian government.
We have a Prime Minister but they are not the Head of state Queen Elizabeth is Australia's head of state.
But there is a vote to make Australia an independent nation and if that happens then we will have a president
You must be 18 to vote
If you do not vote then you will be fined.
There are three levels of government Federal, State and Local
Australia is a Democracy meaning that we vote for who will lead us
There are many different parties to choose from. Parties are types of government groups that normally have one leader
Liberal
Labor
Greens
We have elections to see who shall become the next leader
Parliament hose is the place where prime ministers live
Even once they have retired former prime ministers of Australia still get paid
There has only been one female prime minister in Australia

The Governor general represent the queen in Australia they are the only person who can sack the prime minister there has only been one prime minister that has been sacked by the governor general

The local government looks after rubbish collection parks and local roads
There are multiple ways to vote in electons
You can cast a pre postal vote if you will not be able to vote on election day
Voting areas are held in schools, town halls and other community buildings
There are 2 parliament houses
You can enroll to vote when you are 16 if you do not enroll then you an not vote
The prime minister chooses who the governor general is
A bill (a law before it is passed) goes through the house of representatives and then the senate before it can be passed and turned into a law
There are multiple court levels in high ourt
In the senate there are red seats in the house of representatives there are green seats
Countries that Australia has international relations with have an embassy
The maximum amount of federal judges assigned to one case is 7
They always have an odd number of judges in high court so that they can come to a decision
In the house of representatives the speaker is the leader but in the senate it is the president
