Sculptures became popular, many of the sculptures were of the gods.

A well-known statue was made called the Colossus of Rhodes, it was a giant bronze statue that stood over 100 ft high.

Hellenistic sculpture would create natural images of people or sculptures. They did not sculpt the perfect person.
Instead, they would show the details of an average, every day, humans.

Science and Technology
Most of the science researched and discovered in the hellenistic period had to do with constellations.
A man named Ptolemy listed 48 constellations, he later was given Egypt by Alexander the Great.
Also, a Greek scholar estimated the size of the sun. The theory that the planets revolve around the sun was also suggested but it was dismissed.

One of the large architectural advancements were the columns used to support buildings or as decoration.
