Student Study Team (SST)
1. Evaluation
- One or more of a student's teachers notice signs that the student is struggling.
2. Eligibility
3. IEP Referral
- Takes up to 60 days to process the IEP.
- Parents have 15 days to approve the plan and to return the consent form.
4. Establishing the Plan
- The student's teachers and other school personnel will have a meeting with the student's parents to share concerns and ideas for a differentiated instruction plan.

- Signs of struggle is identified.
- The student has at least one IDEA-defined disability and the student must show adverse impacts of that disability.
