Multiculturalism and inclusion for all
Why is this an important issue?
Addressing this issue acknowledges respectful relationships, dignity for the human person. Recognising that each individual is unique
Culture is an intricate part of identity
Fostering a society or education system that does not respect or understand cultural diversity and inclusion for all degrades the individual and creates barriers in society
It is a universal human right to preserve cultural diversity as a living and renewable treasure
Diversity can reach its full potential when multiculturalism is celebrated. Diversity also brings about inclusion, individuality and innovation.
Embracing multiculturalism is associated with equality; the respect and acceptance of one another that gives people the same rights and opportunities.
Losing a culture is a loss of music, food, ceremonies, celebrations, clothes, dance, history, tradition etc. A loss on how to identify in the world and society,
