Perception changed during motherhood of education. Instead of viewing it as a subject that keeps families apart she realizes that it is the only way for her to survive the future ahead.

Handling setbacks and learning from person sacrifice Dr. Beegle examples what a growth mindset is. Knowing that the routine she was in was going no where she searched for better else where.
Beginning my education
Through the Dr.Beegles needs she found help. Help that provided a environment that gave her room to grow as a human. This is where social interaction pushed Donna to want to achieve more in her life.
Getting My G.E.D
When Dr. Beegles achieved her G.E.D. she change the reality of education to her family and how they perceived it. in affect made them want to achieve more and reach out for further education.
Overcoming Barriers to Education
The benefits of risk taking unfold as Dr. Beegle jumps at the chance to further her education with incite to something she was clueless too. It is the risk taker that has lead her here and still yet more to go. This time tackling education with the support for her made reality.
Mentors, Middle-Class Language, and Meeting Me Where I was -The Key to My Educational Success 'Junior Year College"
Realizing peoples perception of her because of stereotypes made by others schemata. Dr. Beegle find tunes her abilities of speaking English with the help of a Professor Dr. Bob Fulford. Dr. Fulford incorporated reading newspapers and even grading other peers homework to help Donna. Implementing human failure is relevant and incorporating more than just spoken word for Donna but context to relate to.
Family Support
Without the support of family none of this would be possible. Even if it is not in the way that other families contribute it is the thought that actually counts and the littlest help is usually the most detrimental. Never forget who you are and what you came from
Jennifer ~symbolizes many things for me in this article such as prospective and reality. She is Donna's reality for such a long period of time that when she loses her she looses also her perspective on life and the future success for her self. but also in the same moment gave Donna purpose to spread the information about Jennifer. So that hope can take root in classrooms blossom where death had snubbed it.
My Life and Family Today
After many setbacks and huge culture barriers Dr. Beegle proves that poverty doesn't define who we are or what success level one can reach. person experience and many mentors along the way such as Dr. Fulford help build the perception where once a fixed mindset.Today her success has ripples through her family and through her change she has lead them to want to and have achieve high levels of success.
